Working Title: When the Water Began to Sing

We’re filming a cinematic Nordic folk-pop music video set in Dalarna, a rural part of Sweden where folklore, traditional clothing, and ancient rituals are still alive today.

A cinematic EP (three songs) exploring youth, partnership, and devotion — where dance and love endure beyond a single lifetime.

    When: Late summer 2026

Artist / Creator / Lead: LOVE JOSIE (Josefin Strand)

    We are looking for:

    Producer

Experienced film or TV producer with a strong understanding of funding structures and production logistics, open to traveling and working on location in Sweden.

    Director of Photography

The film is designed to be shot efficiently with a focused crew, natural light, and a clear visual and emotional language, inspired by older Swedish children’s cinema — visually striking shots, grounded in everyday life and landscape.

Costume Designer: Swedish folkloric designer (upcycled, traditional textiles)

Collaborates on designing the costume that feels realistic and lived in, with a strong visual silhouette and symbolic shapes and details that represent the protagonist character type. Works closely with visual and narrative direction.

    Supporters/investors

For those interested in contributing to culutral stewardship, a deck will be sent out with the full scope and details of the project!

    Why now?

Cultural stewardship, feminine folklore, living tradition.

Historically, music and storytelling were essential tools of survival, connection, and continuity. This project responds to a shared longing for a human pace — inviting culture to be lived and shared, not consumed.

The past projects have been fully personally funded and driven. To bring this three-song EP project to its full potential, LOVE JOSIE is seeking collaborators and supporters who wish to participate in the stewardship of a culturally grounded, long-form artistic work.

I look forward to brining this project alive together!
